KUCHING: Sarawak Esports Association (SESA) will organise the Senator Esports Cup 2023 Series 1 on May 6 and 7 with a charity fundraising event at the Atrium of Boulevard Shopping Mall Kuching.

It will feature 32 teams of mobile multiplayer online battle arena game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and 32 teams of battle-royale video game PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) battling it out for the top spot, with RM4,000 total prize pool and bragging rights on the line.

Additionally, SESA is running a charity donation drive for S.O.S Kids, a charity that provides help and assistance to critically sick children and their families in the community.

SESA’s goal is to raise RM5,000 for this great cause and they hope that the community will join the association in this important mission.

“The Senator Esports Cup is more than just a tournament – it is a celebration of esports, youth and community.

“We believe that esports can be a force for good and I am proud to be partnering with SESA to make a positive impact on our community,” Senator Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim said this during the press conference held at Regatta Suites here on Thursday.
