KUCHING: The Tanah Puteh Kuching Health Clinic Advisory Panel will host a ‘Towards Healthy Seniors’ programme on Sept 28.
The event which will held from 7am to 1pm at Lot 1536, Taman Riverview, is aimed at the elderly in the Bintawa area and its surroundings.
This programme will offer a variety of activities including health screenings, tuberculosis tests, dental exams, HPV/pap smear checks, and a Know Your Medicine booth.
Attendees can also explore exhibitions on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and occupational therapy (OT), attend a geriatric nutrition talk, and participate in additional health discussions.
In addition, seniors are invited to join in ‘Fa Jia’ exercises and sports activities as well.
Registration for the event will start at 7am and is free of charge.
