KUCHING: A car and a motorcycle were destroyed in fire incidents at two different locations, on Thursday (August 13).
According to State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), it received a distress call on the first incident that occurred around 1.15am when a car was suddenly engulfed by flames.
Following the call, a team of firefighters from Bintangor BBP was despatched to Kampung Rancak, Bintangor, where the car was reportedly burning.
Upon arrival, the Honda Accord car was 90 percent wrecked. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire.
The operation ended around 1.45am.
The second incident happened behind Kingwood Hotel in Sibu, when a distress call was received about 3.52am.
Sibu BBP immediately despatched a team of firefighters to the scene and found out that a motorcycle was on fire and was completely destroyed.
The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire at the scene before heading back to the fire station.
