SRI Aman APM personnel putting Meroh on a stretcher before she was taken to Sri Aman Hospital for further treatment.

SRI AMAN: Shoppers at STC market here were taken by surprise when an elderly woman suddenly fell unconscious at the food and drinks stalls area of the market, yesterday afternoon.

A shopper then immediately contacted Sri Aman Civil Defence Force (APM) to come to give emergency treatment to the woman identified as 78-year-old, Meroh anak Bragan.

“We received a distress call at 2.35pm and immediately dispatched three personnel in an ambulance to the scene.

“Upon arrival at the STC market our personnel immediately attended to Meroh for about five minutes before she was taken to Sri Aman Hospital for further treatment,” said Officer-in-charge of Sri Aman APM, Captain (PA) Siti Huzaimah Ibrahim.

Siti also advised the public here to immediately contact Sri Aman APM at tel: 083-320973 during an emergency in their area.
