KUCHING: Serba Dinamik Holdings Berhad (Serba Dinamik), in collaboration with Asian Taste and SD Impex (SDI) Sdn Bhd, yesterday distributed RM500,000 worth of food aid to frontliners around Shah Alam, Selangor.
The aid, consisting of 2,000 packs of bubur lambuk, 1,000 packs of biscuits as well as 1,000 packs of packed food, were distributed to frontliners at the Shah Alam Hospital, Avisena Hospital, Section 7 and 19 health clinics, Section 6 and 9 police station and Section 9 district police headquarters (IPD).
According to the company’s vice president and Human Capital and General Affairs Division head Syaiful Radzman Osman, the event, which was one of their corporate social responsibilities (CSR) programme, was a sign of concern and gratitude to frontliners who were working very hard in the fight against Covid-19.
At the same time, he said throughout the month of Ramadan, the company would distribute 1,000 packs of packed food to its employees for the breaking of fast.
Commenting on the blue light that illuminated Menara Serba Dinamik in Shah Alam at night, he said it was a sign of appreciation for the sacrifices of the frontline workers.
“It is a token of gratitude for the sacrifices, persistence, determination and hard work of the frontliners in the public, private or voluntary sectors who have been working hard in combating Covid-19,” Syaiful explained.
The 60-minute light show was collaboration with Syarikat Sound Innovations.
