KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Serba Dinamik IT Solution Sdn Bhd (SDIT), today launched the Halal2Go application (app) which offers online food delivery services.

Halal2Go is a one-stop app which focuses on halal food that is clean, safe and of quality, ranging from traditional food to a variety of dishes prepared by a chain of restaurants as well as home-based cooking.

Serba Dinamik group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah said Halal2Go, which is based on a holistic planning, would start in stages in the domestic market and subsequently to the global level.

“Starting from Shah Alam and Subang, Selangor, we will expand to the international market including Singapore, Indonesia, India, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

“With this holistic planning, we expect the company’s revenue to increase by RM50 million by the end of the year,” he said at the virtual launch of Halal2Go service on Facebook today.

Meanwhile, SDIT also offers a healthy competition in the gig economy to individuals involved in other online services.

Malaysian Bumiputera Women Entrepreneurs’ Association (Usahanita) president Datuk Faridah A Jabbar said the cooperation between the association and SDIT would further strengthen the opportunities for women as well as Makcik Kiah in promoting their business.

“The opportunity will be brighter when Makcik Kiah or roadside traders come and register under the auspices of Usahanita. With this opportunity, women can become food delivery personnel to supplement their income and improve the quality of life,” she said.

Meanwhile, the Malay Consultative Council (MPM) secretary-general Prof Datuk Dr Hasan Mad said SDIT’s creativity in merging the digital economy with Shariah aspects was an opportune time for the nation’s economic growth.

“It represents the first Bumiputera Muslim platform to market and delivering products to their customers.”
