KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd recorded a higher net profit of RM113.16 million in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2019 against RM83.23 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenue surged to RM1.05 billion from RM770.22 million previously, lifted by strong activities from the operations and maintenance segment.
“The increase was due to higher activities from our maintenance, repair and overhaul activity in the Middle East region such as Qatar, the eUnited Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Malaysia,” the group said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia Monday.
Commenting on the results, group managing director/chief executive director Datuk Dr Ir Mohd Karim Abdullah in a separate statement said the group is optimistic of achieving its internal double-digit growth target for both the top and bottom lines for financial year 2019.
“Riding on the achievement of a better performance for FY2019 will be a proven record to the market to attract more new investors to our company.
“At the same time, this will also enable our existing shareholders to have a larger number of shares, rewarding them for their loyalty and continuous support to the group,” he added. – Bernama
