KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik has emerged as the most active counter during the early trading session after the group announced that it has formally appointed Ernst & Young Consulting SB (EY) to undertake a special independent review of the audit matters raised by its former external auditors, KPMG.
As at 10am, Serba Dinamik’s shares rose 1.5 sen to 40 sen, with 180.97 million units changing hands.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia last Friday, the group said the decision to appoint EY was made following a discussion between the company and Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd, adding that EY is fit for the engagement as they are one of the reputable “Big 4” audit firms. – Bernama
