BAU: The construction of the new Community Centre building at the Serembu Cultural and Community Centre here has been fully completed.
According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the project was under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP).
Serembu assemblyman Miro Simuh and representatives from the Public Works Department (JKR) Bau made a site visit recently to inspect the project which has been implemented by the contractor, Wayne Enterprise.
Miro expressed his satisfaction with the contractor’s work which is in line with what was planned and completed in a short time of within six months.
“The community hall with the background of Mount Serembu will also be an attraction for the public.
“I hope with the existence of this hall, it can be used as best as possible by the local community,” Miro said.
