KUCHING: Serian Football Association (PBBS) have not decided yet whether to compete in the 2018 FAM Cup tournament.
“A lot of things to be considered. I’m sure we need a certain amount of money to fund and build the team,” said team manager Phillip Jabu when met recently.
“It’s necessary for us to review the matter before we can make any decision. That’s why we couldn’t come with any answer yet,” he said.
“However, we welcome any individuals or corporations, who are willing to support and sponsor us,” stressed Phillip.
The Serian FA – coached by Rozaini Romainor – earned an automatic ticket to compete in the FAM Cup next year after reaching the final stage of the National Level People’s Football League (LBR) 2016/2017 last month.
