BALINGIAN: A strong partnership between the community and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is essential to effectively address social and criminal issues, said Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) Vice Chairman Datuk Kamarudin Md Ali.
“Close collaboration between the community and the PDRM will enable both parties to work together to prevent and solve crimes,” he said during the Excellent Police Station Visit Programme at the Balingian Police Station recently.
Highlighting the growing threat of scams, he expressed concern over the significant financial losses it often causes.
He noted that these scams have become increasingly sophisticated and target vulnerable individuals.
Mukah District police chief Deputy Superintendent Muhamad Rizal Alias expressed gratitude for MCPF’s visit and hoped it would inspire the police station to maintain high service standards.
“We hope to continue serving the community and enhancing our team’s reputation,” said Rizal.
