KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has declared enhanced movement control order (EMCO) at seven locations.
The EMCO from July 22, involved Rumah Lanchum, Kampung Tenggang, Pantu in Sri Aman and the workers quarters of Ladang Suajaya Crop Mahir Sdn Bhd in Tatau until Aug 4, while for Rumah Seman Reggie, Sungai Nat, Jalan Samling, Tinjar in Beluru, it will run until Aug 5.
Apart from that, Rumah Peter Mudai, Sunga Sian, Bintangir in Meradong and Rumah Wat, Jikang in Julau started EMCO from Friday (July 23) until Aug 8.
Rumah Mulok, Kula Krian in Saratok will start EMCO from July 26 until Aug 8, while the workers quarters at Ladang Pelitanah 1 and 2 in Dalat will start EMCO from July 25 until Aug 7.
SDMC also announced that three locations in Sarikei had ended EMCO on July 23, namely Rumah Luing, Sungai Pama, Gerugu Nyelong; Rumah Nugu, Kerubung Selalalng and Rumah Tapoi, Sungai Setajam.
SDMC said the Unit For Other Religions (Unifor) had updated the standard operating procedures (SOP) for the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase Two.
