KOTA SAMARAHAN: A sexagenarian was found dead in his car at the Sarawak Heart Centre (HUS) in Kota Samarahan yesterday.
A spokesperson from the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said that the firemen received a distressed call around 3.30 pm where the operations centre was informed that a man in his 60s was unconscious in his car.
In addition to that, he said that nine firemen from the Kota Samarahan fire station were despatched immediately to the scene.
“Upon arrival at the location, the four wheel drive (4WD) vehicle was found locked and the victim was unconscious inside.
“The Bomba team had to use a special equipment tool to open the vehicle’s door,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson later revealed that the man believed to be in his 60s was pronounced dead by the paramedics and his body was handed over to the police for further action.
