KOTA SAMARAHAN: A team from the Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) conducted a thorough inspection following a crocodile sighting inside the drainage of SK Tanjung Pisang, Selangking.
According to a post on its Facebook page on Monday (June 27), the croc, estimated at 1.2m in length, was last seen below the school’s jetty above the drainage.
SFC had urged the school’s administration to report immediately should the reptile reappear.
SFC would be placing warning signage at the location to remind everyone, especially teachers and students, to exercise caution to prevent any unwanted incident.
Hooks and lines would also be placed along the drainage to capture and remove the reptile.
