KUCHING: The Blood Bank of Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) is appealing to the public to come forward to donate blood throughout this week.
It said that a series of blood donation drives would be held at the Blood Bank as well as other locations until this Sunday (July 14).
From July 9 to 12, donors can visit the Blood Bank at the hospital from 8 am to 12.30 pm or from 2 pm to 4.30 pm to donate their blood.
The goal of this four-day event is to collect 30 blood bags each day.
In addition to the hospital drive, there are several other donation drives such as at the TM Hub Semariang on July 10.
Moreover, another blood donation drive will be held at the Institut Kemahiran Islam Malaysia Sarawak’s (IKMAS) Hall on July 11.
On July 13, SIB The Way Church in Taman Phoning and the Malaysian Armed Forces Indian Veteran Association (PERKIM) will also hold their respective blood donation drives.
The final drive will take place at Boulevard Shopping Mall on July 14.
