AFTER tying the knot and getting divorced twice, actress Sharifah Sakinah admitted that she is still “traumatised”, and that was the reason that she decided to stay single for a while. The 34-year-old said that even if she were to find Mr Right again, it would not be too soon for her to take the next step.
“It has not been easy for me, you know, getting married and divorced twice. I feel like I need to take a break from finding love and focus more on my career and selfimprovement,” Sakinah said. “This, however, does not mean I have had it with marriage; I just want to take things easy for now. “If the right man comes into my life in the near future, only then will I make a decision,” she added.
In her first marriage, Sakinah married businessman Alif Adha Jamil on March 28, 2015, but their relationship ended in May 2020. She has a six-year-old daughter, Anais Adha, with Alif. She then married Swedish national Michael Hansen in early 2021, but their marriage lasted less than a year.
