KAPIT: Sherry Anderson beat seven other contestants to the Kapit Agrofest beauty queen crown.
The competition was held to coincide with the closing of the three-day Agrofest Kapit at the compound of the State Office Complex, Jalan Bleteh here.
Sherry took home RM1,500, a bouquet of flowers, a trophy and a hamper.
First runner-up Caroline Freedly received RM1,300, a trophy and a hamper while second runner-up Caroline Lika Undi received RM1,000, a trophy and a hamper.
Five other finalists—Kartini Daud, Doris Ungan, Carolina Remong, Cardyne Kamba and Jenny Len—received RM250 and a hamper each.
The ‘Best Designer’ subsidiary title went to Vanessa Collection, taking home RM300.
The ‘Best Presentation’ title was won by Kartini Daud while the ‘Best Personality’ title was won by Doris Ungan. Both received a hamper each.
The Kapit Agrofest beauty pageant was organised by Sarakup Indu Dayak Sarawak, Kapit Branch.
