CELEBRITY couple, singer Shila Amzah and social media influencer fiancé Ubai, admitted that they have been facing lots of challenges since the two announced their engagement.
The “Patah Seribu” singer recently revealed to the entertainment show “Melodi” that while there is the usual backlash, there were even some who wished that their relationship would not last and suggested some other men for her.
It is noted that most netizens question the couple’s nine-year age gap, as Shila is 34 and Ubai is 25.
“Of course it hurts. Ubai knows. People even prayed that we would break up,” she said.
Meanwhile, Ubai added that he also experienced lots of challenges since they got engaged, with many taking to social media to insult and slam both he and Shila.
“But we can’t please everyone, so all we can do is keep our cool and not do the same as what these people did and would do,” he added.
It was back in May that Shila and Ubai announced that they were engaged to be married, several months after revealing that the two were in a relationship.
