AFTER much talk and speculation, comedian and radio presenter Shuib of Sepahtu fame recently revealed that he will be marrying businesswoman Watie Hanifiah in June.
The 38-year-old “Man Sewel Datang KL” star shared that they are currently in the process of preparing for the wedding, which is now 30 per complete.
“As of now, we have booked the venue. It will be a moderate ceremony since it will be my second marriage but for Watie, it will be her first so it must also be merry. What’s more important is that everybody is happy,” he said.
At the same time, Shuib also stated that he plans to bring Watie to Pendang to meet his late wife Siti Sarah’s stepmother, Siti Fatimah Suberi.
As to whether he is ready to be married again, Shuib said that he is and saw the need for it after seeing how much his kids need a mother figure in their lives.
“Of course, there is no one who can replace Sarah, but I believe that Watie can be a good mother to the children since she shares some of Sarah’s characteristics. The children are also very comfortable with her and, most importantly, our relationship is blessed by the families of both parties, especially my mother Salamiah Jalani,” he said.
