KUCHING: Consistent with every festive season, Petronas delivers yet again with another short film in conjunction with the upcoming Gawai celebration through their festive campaign.
Titled ‘Siapa Jojo?’ (‘Who Is Jojo?’), the short webfilm focuses on Anang and her best friends who have gone back to her hometown to celebrate Gawai together.
In the webfilm, the group of friends soon discovered how important it was to always appreciate the blessings in life and to never take for granted the hard work of others which has allowed them to enjoy such blessings.
According to Petronas Senior General Manager of Group Strategic Communications, Zahariah Abd Rahman, as a responsible corporation Petronas is always striving to continuously remind Malaysians to be appreciative of the harmonious multi-racial society in Malaysia.
“We must stay true to these unique unifying values that bind Malaysians together as a nation.
“From the story, we can learn many things about friendship, hardship, determination, and also blessings and these are things we try to impart on all Malaysians,” she said.
The webfilm picks off from ‘It Came From A Tin Mine’, which featured the same group of friends from Petronas’ Chinese New Year campaign earlier this year.
Zahariah said that this group of children will be featured throughout all of Petronas’ festive campaigns this year.
The webfilm was launched during a Gawai festive gathering between Petronas and members of the media at Grand Margherita Hotel here on Tuesday night.
Members of the public can watch the webfilm at www.petronasofficial.com and will be showing on TV from 30 May until 5 June.
