MUKAH: Shirley Ting Tiew Ying is searching for her biological father named Ting Houng Miew whom she has not met for 19 years.
Shirley told Suara Sarawak that her father left the family after divorcing her mother nearly two decades ago and they haven’t met since then.
She said that the last time they were together was in 2003.
Shirley said she was made to understand that her father was working in Bakun, Belaga at that time, but he later moved to Bintulu.
“In between 2014 and 2015, he contacted us through WeChat, but we lost touch after that.
“My siblings and I want to find our biological father to meet him again; it’s just that because we miss him after such a long time, not for any other reason,” she said.
“I also made a post on Facebook and asked for help from Facebook users to help me find my father.
