SIBU: The Sibu Street Art Festival, the first of its kind to be held here, will be on from 9 to 17 June at Chuan Corridor Sibu Town Square.
The festival is held in conjunction with Visit Sibu Year (VSY) 2017, Top Event Service Sdn Bhd managing director Edward Henry Mut said at a press conference held at Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) office, Level 24, here on Friday.
“In conjunction with the coming Sibu Street Art Festival, the Sibu Street Art Committee has appointed Top Event to organize a creative bazaar corner at Chuan Corridor that offer the visitors with creative arts accessories from fashion and handicraft to body art beauty such as ‘inai’ (henna) and tattoo.
“Those who like to do tattoo or try inai, we have exhibitors offering the service to do live for you at Creative Bazaar. Besides that, we also have exhibitor who will demonstrate to the visitors how to craft using beads as well sewing of traditional cloth. For example, the making of handbag using beads,” he said.
