KUCHING: Unding Jang @ Undom who is receiving treatment at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital (HUKM), Kuala Lumpur seeks for the public’s help to cover his medical costs.
As reported in the Persatuan Anak Borneo Semenanjung’s (ABS) Facebook page, the Sarawakian from Saratok was admitted to HUKM on Oct 5 due to his blurry vision.
According to his wife, Seina Lubot, Unding’s vision had worsened since Oct 6 until this day, and now he is not able to see anything at all.
“The hospital has carried out various treatments such as injecting steroid drugs, taking blood samples, fluid from the spine and carrying out the blood washing process.
“However, all the treatments done do not show any positive effect. As of Oct 21, his treatment bill has reached RM12,273,” she said, adding that they have a four-year-old son together.
With this, ABS stated that those who would want to channel financial assistance to Unding may do so through Serina’s Maybank account (1122 41148998).
“The money channelled will fully be used to cover Unding’s treatment,” it said, adding that the public may also visit him at ward 6H on the sixth floor of the HUKM or contact Serina at 018-3637875.
