SIBU: All programmes and activities involving the ‘Kursi Penyelidikan Tan Sri Empiang Jabu’ (TSEJRC) will be continued during the recovery movement control order (RMCO).
Sarakup Indu Dayak Sarawak (SIDS) president Datuk Ir Alice Jawan said that it must comply with the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
“I am pleased to announce that all TSEJRC programmes and activities will continue and be resumed.
“It is also similar to SIDS activities and programmes but it must comply with the SOP,” she told reporters here on Saturday (June 27).
Earlier, she and her committee members had delivered a donation to one of SIDS’ members, Roselyn Umang, who is also the head of SIDS Batu Kawah unit, who was left homeless due to a recent fire at RPR Batu Kawah in Kuching.
Alice further advised SIDS members who wish to carry out their activities and programmes to comply with the SOP.
“Before implementing the programme, you must know about the SOP that has been set by the Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
“We need to be careful before organising any programmes or activities. The important thing is that the SOP must be complied with,” she added.
