KUCHING: Kakus assemblyman Datuk John Sikie Tayai has contributed face masks and hand sanitisers to students of SMK Tatau sitting for the SPM and STPM examinations.

Sikie, who is also Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Native Laws and Customs), was represented by Kakus Service Centre officer Eugene John Sikie, who handed over the contributions at the Tatau/Sebauh District Education Office today.

Some 322 students at the school are sitting for SPM while 104 are sitting for STPM.

Eugene wished the students all the best in their examinations and urged everyone to always adhere to the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the Health Ministry (MoH).

Also present were SMK Tatau principal Dr Layang Ugek and Tatau Acting District Officer Calvin Ligong Bujang.
