MIRI: Sarawak’s rising woman silat star Ummi Mashitah Hassan will take on Kedah’s Nur Irhamna Qamariah Wira in the final of the women’s class B category today.

Earlier today, Ummi displayed her outstanding skills in the women’s semi-final class B category securing a dominant victory and a place in the final.

In a commanding performance, Ummi  defeated Johor’s Nur Aina Maisara Omar with an impressive score of 47 to 13.

Ummi’s superior technique was evident from the start as she overwhelmed her opponent in the first round, winning 30-4.

She maintained her lead throughout, adding eight points in the second round and securing the win with an additional nine points despite a deduction for Nur Aina’s misconduct in the third round.

Ummi’s signature mullet hairstyle has become a local sensation, and her performance continues to draw admiration from the crowd.

Her previous match was equally impressive, where she triumphed over Perak’s Ainnur Nabil Ainsyah with a score of 56 to 16.

In the men’s class E category, Sarawak’s Mohamad Nurhasri Maxzakir also advanced to the final and will go up against Muhammad Raden Sabry Mohd Insan from Pahang.

Nurhasri secured his spot with a narrow victory, scoring 59 to 55 against Terengganu’s Iskandar Shahfiq Nordin last night (Aug 22).
