KUCHING: Two local football teams Sileng United and Fadzio FT will battle in the final of the Lundu League 2019 on Sunday.
Both teams have equal winning chances for the Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu Challenge Trophy.
On Friday, Jamilah who is Tanjong Datu assemblywoman received the challenge trophy donated by Lea Sports Centre, and presented to her by Lea Holding (M) Sdn Bhd managing director Raymond Sim Hee Pang at a simple ceremony at her residence, Alamanda Residence, Jalan Siol Kanan, Petra Jaya here.
Also present were Lundu Football Club exco members.
Jamilah, meanwhile, urged the local community to come to Lundu Sports Complex on Sunday to support the teams.
Sileng United qualified to the final after defeating P.S.M FC 3-0 in the semifinal while Fadzio FT beat Seabird 3-1 in a penalty shootout after they played to a scoreless draw.
