SIMANGGANG: Simanggang assemblyman Datuk Francis Harden Hollis conducted a routine visit on Oct 31 to assess the progress of development projects in the area.

Accompanied by Ir Ts Minjo Simanding, the Divisional Engineer of the Public Works Department (JKR) Sri Aman Division, the visit included detailed briefings on the implementation progress of Rural Transformation Projects (RTP) in the region.

The briefing encompassed nearly all projects in the Sri Aman Division, providing crucial updates on the development plans in the area.

During the assessment, Harden expressed optimism about the ongoing developments, highlighting their potential to bring significant positive changes to the area.

“This is especially evident in the planned road networks and bridges, which are strategically designed to improve connectivity to Bandar Simanggang,” he said in a statement on Thursday (Nov 2).

In addition to visiting development projects, he also visited the Sri Aman District Office (MDSA) to receive updates on the status of projects under the MDSA implementing agency. This briefing was presented by MDSA engineer Fanny Jun Engang.

Other officials present during the briefing included MDSA city representative Anthony Abell Chendan, acting secretary Hiu Kee Sing, deputy chairman Balean Suji Inggol, acting deputy secretary Regina Giles Senin, and other MDSA officials.
