SIMANGGANG: It is said that behind every successful man, is a woman.
This is certainly true in the case of Assistant Minister of Community Welfare, Datuk Francis Harden Hollis whose political career is strongly supported by his wife, Datin Simba Nalang.
Whenever Harden visits longhouses in his constituency, Simba loves to accompany him and uses the opportunity to call on the sick and homeless besides making personal contributions to help ease the financial burden of some of the folk.
For instance, during Harden’s visit to Rumah Meria Lutang Sengelau in Undop, Simba presented wheelchairs to Andria @ Noria Baily and Umam Bansing.
She was accompanied by the chairman of the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Women’s Movement Simanggang Branch, Kapitan Ling Siew Hung.
