The proposed construction of a new integrated quarter and administrative office in Simunjan will be submitted for consideration as a project in the Mid-Term Review of the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP).

In saying this, Minister in the Premier’s Department (Native Laws and Customs) Datuk John Sikie Tayai said for the year 2022, a total of RM300,000 would be provided for the maintenance of residential buildings in Simunjan and RM100,000 for the purpose of grass cutting, drain clearance and tree trimming.

Sikie stated this in his ministerial winding-up speech and in response to the issue raised by Awla Idris (GPS-Simunjan) during the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting today (May 24).
