KUCHING: Those who have received two doses of Covid-19 Sinovac vaccine but yet to get their booster dose by next Thursday (March 31) will lose their “fully-vaccinated” status.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin told the Parliament that it was estimated that two million people – who do not get their booster – would be affected.
He said this was based on his ministry’s data and projection.
Apart from that, Khairy said, Singapore will only regard Sinovac recipients as ‘fully-vaccinated’ if they have completed three doses.
Starting April 1, fully-vaccinated travellers can commute between Malaysia and Singapore via the land border without any Covid-19 testing or quarantine requirements.
