KUCHING: Six individuals were detained for drug abuse following an operation carried out by the National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK) in Kota Samaharan recently.
During the operation which started at 8pm and ended at 3am several persons were made to undergo urine test, of which six, aged between 20 and 50, were tested positive for drug abuse.
“All six individuals were detained for further action,” a spokesman said, adding that the case will be investigated under Section 3(1) of the Drug Addicts, Treatment and Rehabilitation Act 1983.
