SONG: Six victims escaped death when the car they were travelling in collided with another car at Jalan Selabi, on Tuesday night (Nov 3).
According to State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a distress call about the incident was received around 9.10pm. Song fire and rescue station immediately despatched a team of rescuers to the scene.
Upon arrival, the team found out that a sedan car had crashed with a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle.
All six victims were safely taken out by some members of the public and brought to a health facility by one of them.
The victims only sustained minor injuries.
Firefighters cum rescuers at the scene inspected both vehicles to make sure no victim was left behind. They also cleaned up the debris of the crash.
The operation ended around 10.20pm.
