MIRI: Six individuals narrowly escaped a fiery ordeal when their car burst into flames following an accident on the Miri Pujut flyover late Thursday night (Aug 22).
The incident occurred shortly before midnight, with a distress call made at 11.57 pm.
The vehicle, a Perodua Alza, had reportedly been involved in an accident before suddenly catching fire.
Fortunately, all six occupants managed to escape the vehicle unharmed before the flames engulfed the car.
A team of firemen from Miri Sentral was swiftly dispatched to the scene, but by the time they arrived, the car was destroyed.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
