KUCHING: Six men, aged between 21 and 48, were each fined RM1,500, in default six months in prison, by the Magistrates’ Court for intentionally causing injury to a 33-year-old man.

The group also recorded the act on camera and told the victim to hold up an agreement letter.
After the incident, the victim filed a police report, which led to all six men’s arrest on Sept 19.
Inspector Merylene Lindan Andrew Mang prosecuted the case while the six men were not represented by legal counsel.
