MUKAH : Thirty-three Year Six students of SK Kampung Tellian here recently received excellence awards during a presentation ceremony here at the village community hall.
They also received prizes from Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) which were handed over by James Anthony, the chairman of the school’s Parent- Teacher Association (PTA).
Besides the Year Six students who were leaving the school for their secondary education, there were also special awards for academic excellence for all the other classes in the school.
The event was sponsored by SEB and the guest-of-honour was Mukah District Assistant Education Officer Clement Ak Liam. Also present at the function were the headmaster, Bujang Hanafi, JPIP Chairman Ahit Mahari, Penghulu Lai Mayer Gabong, Ketua Kaum William Lajo, teachers and parents.
