MIRI: Member of Parliament (MP), Chiew Choon Man has pledged RM100,000 to SK St Columba Miri for the upgrading of the school hall and facilitating other Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) programmes.

During the official opening of the school’s PTA meeting yesterday, he revealed plans to secure a special allocation of RM70,000 for the school’s infrastructure improvements, particularly focusing on upgrading of toilets.

Chiew affirmed that as a representative in Parliament, he promised to continue supporting education and schools in his jurisdiction.

He emphasised on his commitment to advocate for additional funding for education, implementing progressive policies, and ensuring that the voices of all stakeholders were heard and considered in any decision-making processes on parliament.
