KUCHING: Minister for Local Government and Housing Sarawak, Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian yesterday handed over a grant RM500,000 to Batu Kawa Min Lit Secondary School.
The grant was handed over to the school on behalf of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, to be used for the construction of new classrooms.
The Chief Minister had promised the said amount to the school at an earlier event.
Meanwhile, the board members of the school thanked the Chief Minister and the State Government for the kind gesture.
