KUCHING: The “Smart Walking Cane” project by Politeknik Kuching Sarawak’s (PKS) Information Technology and Communication Department has won the Student Project Festival Session 2 2021/2022.
Second place was a project titled “Banana Stem Fiber Additive In Hot Milk” by students of the Department of Civil Engineering while the students of the Department of Electrical Engineering took third with their project titled “C19-AHS.”
The programme’s goals were to promote student creativity under the supervision of lecturers, giving students a platform to display the results of their final semester project course work and new ideas, and making it easier for external agencies to comprehend the skills that students have learned, particularly in the areas of engineering and information technology.
