KUCHING: SMK Kota Samarahan defeated 15 other competing schools to emerge champion in the Maths and Engineering Contest organised by i-CATS Engineering Programme at its campus, in Jalan Stampin Timur here.
The school won a trophy, gold medal and a RM500 cash prize.
Second spot was grabbed by SMK Sematan while SMK Semerah Padi came third.
SMK Sematan won a trophy, silver medal and RM300 cash while SMK Semerah Padi won a trophy, bronze medal and RM200.
On a separate issue, the on-going i-CATS InfoWeek will end on March 27.
