DALAT: SMK Three Rivers Alumni Association have received RM20,000 and SMK Three Rivers Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG TRS) RM10,000 respectively from the government.
They were among the recipients of Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants handed out by Minister of Welfare, Community Well Being, Women, Family and Childhood Development Datuk Hajah Fatimah Abdullah at SMK Dalat Hall, here on 21 May.
The other recipients were from Dalat District, namely, PIBG SMK Dalat(RM10,000), PIBG SMK Oya(RM10,000), PIBG SJK© Chin Hua Dalat(RM7,000), PIBG SJK© Yak Tee Oya(RM5,000), Tadika Chin Hua(RM10,000), PIBG SK Sg Ud(RM50,000), PIBG SK St Jude(RM1,500), Taman Ceria Dalat Village Development and Security Committee-JKKK(RM3,000), Kpg Tanam Seberang Belanga Sagu project-sago pellet mill(RM40,000) and Kpg Boom Futsal court-upgrading (RM50,000).
Also present at the handing out of the grants were Dalat District Officer Kueh Lei Poh, Dalat District Education(PPD) Officer Ahli Chikba, PPD Spots Development Officer Ismail Kram and SMK Dalat Principal Magdaline Jon.
