LIMBANG: The mysterious disappearance of a chicken in Kampung Gumaya, Jalan Pandaruan here was answered when a python was found, yesterday.
The incident occurred when locals heard a loud commotion nearby the chicken coop were before contacting the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba).
According to Bomba deputy acting director Tiong Ling Hii, they received an emergency call at 4.31am before deploying a team from Limbang fire station to the scene.
“Upon arrival, a snake was found in a chicken coop in the backyard of the complainant’s house.
“Bomba then caught the snake before transferring it to its original habitat,” he said in a statement.
The operation ended at 4.54am.
