KUCHING: In conjunction with the Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration, Kuching Hot Shot has announced the 2021 ‘Snap and Win CNY #ootd Kuching City Edition’ contest.
All Malaysians in Kuching city can send up to three best photos of people in their best CNY outfits with the city’s CNY decorations for their chance to win.
This year’s top winner can win RM388 cash prize while the second and third places would bag RM188 and RM88 respectively.
“The contest is held to showcase the diversity of moments and experiences with beautiful decorations around the city in conjunction with CNY celebration, despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The photos in the contest would not only display the talent of their creators but also inspire visitors to explore and discover the wonders of Kuching city in Sarawak.
“The winning and shortlisted photos will be used for the creation of a photo book and posts in Kuching Hot Shot’s social media pages,” it said in a statement today (Jan 28).
The main sponsor of the event is Trintel Sdn Bhd, a telecommunication and engineering services based in Kuching.
The deadline for entry is Feb 2 with no admission fee.
