KAPIT: Chairperson of Kapit Chiang Chuan Association Sng Geok Yien has been re-elected to lead the association for another term for the year 2017-2018 at its biennial general meeting held at the association’s conference room recently.
The line-up of the new committee saw minor changes with most of the members were re-elected for their respective posts.
The other members who were re-elected to the committee were deputy chairman Sng Chee Ung, youth chief Gary Ngo and women chief Lily Sng respectively.
Ma Tian Kock was elected as the vice chairman while Teo Tian Chai is the secretary and he is assisted by Councillor Tan Peng Chuan with Soon Peng Hai as the treasurer while Teo Ai Ling was elected as the chairperson of Dancing Club sub-committee.
The other committee members are Ngo Kok King (general affairs), Sng Chee Ching (benevolent), Wee Kok Siong (welfare), Tan Kian Kiong (children education), Wee Lian Pin (recreation) and Teo Wen Pin and Teo Wen Chuan (public relations).
