KUCHING: Sribima Offshore Catering Company (SOCC) Sdn Bhd is igniting the culinary scene with a sensational debut of its Warna Rasa Buffet by SOCC.

Specially crafted for the Ramadan season, the buffet will be taking place from March 15 until April 7 between 5.30 pm and 9.30 pm at CIDB Convention Centre here.

Operations manager Aziz Jabar Haron expressed SOCC’s enthusiasm for venturing into onshore catering which is a strategic expansion targeting the local market.

With years of experience in delivering catering services to the petrochemical industry, SOCC is now poised to dazzle patrons with its offerings.

“Our buffet stands out with an array of unique dishes, including our signature dishes which have been perfected over time. We pride ourselves on offering international flavours alongside an exquisite selection of desserts,” he told the New Sarawak Tribune on Friday evening.

Driven by a commitment to excellence in both quality and service, Aziz Jabar said SOCC aims to carve a niche in the local catering industry.

He also said SOCC aspires to be a healthy rival for established brands and renowned companies.

“When it comes to the food and beverage industry, the two most important factors that determine your success are your quality and service. As such, our management has emphasised the importance of excelling in these.

“Our aim is to establish our own brand name and perhaps be able to compete or be at the same level as hotels,” he said.

Among the highlight of the buffet are roast beef, varieties of umai and kerabu, laksa Sarawak, mee kolok and mee Jawa.

The buffet also features authentic local delicacies such as nasi minyak, ayam kunyit, kari daging, asam pedas, bubur pedas and many other local favourites.
