MIRI: A social hiking event was held in conjunction with the Sarawak Oil Palms (SOP) 56km virtual run at Niah National Park on May 11.
Almost 200 SOP staff waited for the weather to clear to participate in the event which aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster teamwork.
The participants who were divided into groups embarked on a guided hiking trail that took them through the rainforest.
The SOP social hiking event is an initiative under the SOP Wellness Programme to encourage its employees and their families to engage in physical activities that promote well-being and healthy living.
