SIMANGGANG: The Chee Chuan Khor Moral Uplifting Society, Simanggang donated 18 sets of beds including pillows and mattresses for the use of frontline staff and patients at

the Covid-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) here today.

“After donating the ‘Hot & Cold Water Dispenser’ equipment to the PKRC management last February, the society once again performed its charitable responsibility by donating beds for the use of the ‘occupants’ there.

“This contribution is intended to help provide comfort to PKRC to meet the needs of Covid-19 patients who are housed at the centre,” said its president Temenggung Kueh Aik Seng.

He hoped that the PKRC management would make full use of the facilities.

“We hope that the donation will be able to raise the morale of the frontline workers in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic in Sri Aman area throughout this difficult time,” he said.

The donations were handed over by the society members to the PKRC management in full compliance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the government.
