SIBU: Lions Club of Song (LCS) held its 13th installation of the new board of directors along with an induction ceremony during a luncheon reception at Chai Kee Restaurant, Song, recently.

According to a press release, Francesca Versa Adam, who is a nurse, has been installed as the new president, succeeding Norine Semion.
Lions Clubs International District 308-A2 governor Kapitan Ronny Hiew was the guest of honour, with immediate past district governor Kapitan Connie Loh Ming Hua as the luncheon patron.

During the event, Sofian Bas was inducted as a new member. Among those in attendance were past district governor Datuk Betty Wong Yieng, cabinet secretary Datuk Melvin Dismond and members from Kota Kinabalu, Keningau, Miri, Kuching, Sibu, Bintangor and Sarikei.
