KUCHING: The standard operating procedure (SOP) guidelines for fully vaccinated people will be released as soon as they are approved by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) after obtaining advice from medical experts.
SDMC reaffirms that the existing SOPs are still in force until the SOP Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) had been gazetted.
“This is because Sarawak takes into account the benefit of getting fully vaccinated and welcomes the decision to facilitate the mental and physical health of the people as well as the country’s economic activities,” SDMC said on Monday (Aug 9).
The decision was in line with the recent announcement made by the Prime Minister on Sunday (Aug 8) regarding people who are fully vaccinated.

In Bintulu District, the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department Quarters and a rental room on Six Two Street Store, No. 14 Columbia Shop House, began EMCO on Aug 8 and this will run until Aug 21.
