MIRI: Sarawak Oil Palm (SOP) Foundation celebrated the achievements of 125 exceptional students from selected secondary schools in Sarawak through the Young Achievers Award (YAA) 2022/2023.

The SOP Foundation organised a handover ceremony in Marudi, Sungai Asap, and recently in Sebauh. In a commitment to reach diverse regions, including Lambir, Niah, Suai, Tatau, and Balingian, the SOP Foundation personally facilitated the handovers at each location, recognising the geographical distance between these schools.

Through its YAA programme, the SOP Foundation aimed to honour students who performed exceptionally well in the 2022 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) exams with cash awards and certificates, with the goal of inspiring and motivating local youth to strive for academic success.
